Lake House Before and After
This Lake Martin remodel was recently completed. This was our second time to work with these wonderful clients. We first met when we completely remodeled the wife’s childhood home in Opelika, AL. (Check out those pictures in our portfolio https://lmdesignbuildfurnish.com/portfolio-posts/rock-house-renovation/ One of the priorities for the lake house remodel was to have more sleeping spaces for their family. They previously had a day bed set up in a hallway to accommodate the amount of overnight guests they hosted. We closed off that area with barn doors and added custom double bunk beds! Now, an area that had no privacy and only slept one is private and can sleep 4! We also updated dark, single sink bathrooms to fresh and bright retreats with double basins. These budget friendly vanities are on display in our showroom and are available in variety of styles.
Utilizing the clients’ existing couches we updated the living area. Removing a pony wall and support pole opened up the area for an overall larger feel.
The show stopper is the remodeled kitchen and breakfast area with it’s stunning views of the lake.
