In this project we were able to coordinate with both homeowner and builder to make finish selections. Taking into account the homeowner’s desired style, we selected cabinet colors, cultured stone, tile, paint, and floor stains.
The family room incorporates cultured stone paired with custom built-ins to provide a functional space while maintaining a cozy look and environment for the family to spend time in.
The guest bath is located just off of the family room and adjacent to the guest bedroom. Because of location, this bathroom will serve as both the powder room and guest bath. Tile selection for the guest bath features a basketweave natural stone tile, which is framed with chair rail and surrounded by coordinating beveled subway tile. The design intent is to create a sleek clean-lined space that also feels luxurious for overnight guests.
Lighting selections for this home added details that helped to reflect the homeowners style. This specific chandelier was chosen not only for its rustic characteristics but size as well. Its size and placement create a subtle focal point upon entry to the home.
In the kitchen, a backsplash and accent tile were chosen. The accent tile provides a focal point behind the stove while the backsplash tile helps to carry the color throughout.
