LAKE MARTIN HOME PROJECT
Any house on the water can be dreamy, but Lake Martin is in a rank of its own. Being a man-made lake with over 750 miles of shoreline, and 44,000 acres of wildlife and reservoir, It’s surely something to see! We had the privilege of having a project there last year, here’s a peek inside our Lake Martin home renovation project.
The Kitchen
Where to begin? The stone countertops, dark oak custom cabinetry, the wooden beams, and the captivating view will pull you in and make you never want to leave. Adding the white tile to this space to break up the darkness* and adding a clean crisp feel was essential to give the perfect balance. To complement the rustic feel we added the overhead lighting above the bar.

The pendants
These brass S.S. Puritan 1989 Fall River Line pendants gave the room so much character, and the history behind them is also worth reading about. They not only added a rustic touch, but also drew in a nautical feel to the whole room.

Tall ceilings, big space
We love working with any space, but there is something so clean and sophisticated about tall ceilings. The rebar along the staircase allows for the sense of more room and space. Natural lighting is something everyone is after, and wow, does this house have it. The floor to ceiling windows makes this house worth dreaming over for anyone on Lake Martin. This view overlooks the lake and chases the sunset at dawn. It is truly something to see.
Dog nook
Did you see it above? Our client had a few must haves,
and this was high on their list. Who can blame them?

Bathroom
The wooden oak cabinets will follow you through the house and into the primary bath. They’re the focal point in this room. They help highlight the marble counter and the beautiful tile floor. It’s soft, clean, and traditional. The gold and black accents carry throughout the room as well. Having a functional bathroom that is cohesive with both design and space is something often overlooked, we added the shelving built into the wall that helps with functionality, space, and beauty.

Simple things
This project was so rewarding not only because our clients loved the finished result, but because this was the view at the end of the day. Seeing our clients love the finished product, and enjoying their home, is why we do what we do. This project was no exception.
